Head of Commercial Partnerships

TOCA Social is the world's first dining and entertainment experience with a football twist, and it’s set to change the game!  We are ready for global growth with venues already operating in The O2, London and The Bullring, Birmingham. Our next venues open in London, Mexico, and Dallas in 2025!

Job Overview

The role of Head of Commercial Partnerships will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and create both long-term and short-term value for TOCA Social. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, negotiating high-value sponsorships, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

Reports to: SVP, Global Communications & Partnerships

Role Scope & Responsibilities:

Strategy & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement a commercial partnerships strategy to maximize revenue from sponsorships, corporate partnerships and licensing opportunities.
  • Identify and secure new partnership opportunities across a variety of sectors that align with TOCA Social’s brand values.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations and corporate sales teams to create compelling partnership propositions, including opportunities around corporate events.

Partnership Management & Growth:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, corporate partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring partnerships align with business objectives and deliver mutual value.
  • Manage activation plans and ensure partners receive agreed-upon benefits working with key TOCA Social team members.

Revenue Generation & Sponsorship Sales:

  • Drive sponsorship sales for naming rights, advertising, hospitality packages, and digital media.
  • Develop innovative revenue-generating initiatives based off TOCA IP
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to structure agreements that maximize profitability while mitigating risk.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with marketing, operations, and events teams to integrate partnerships into venue experiences.
  • Ensure a seamless execution of commercial agreements, including branding, media placements, and VIP hospitality offerings.
  • Partner with digital and social media teams to create engaging activation campaigns for sponsors.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 6+ years in a commercial partnerships role
  • Proven experience in commercial partnerships, sponsorship sales, or business development within hospitality, sports, or entertainment.
  • Strong track record of securing high-value sponsorships and corporate deals.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Understanding of branding, marketing, and activation strategies in sports and hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in contract negotiation and budget management.
  • Network of industry contacts within sports, hospitality, and corporate sectors.
  • Knowledge of digital and experiential marketing trends in sponsorships.
