Risk Finance Manager

Manager - Risk FinanceTopgolf has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual for the role of Manager - Risk Finance.Role:The Manager of Risk Finance drives financial clarity and accountability for the risk management department. This analytical and highly organized individual, reporting to the Sr. Director of Risk Management, will have responsibility for budgeting, reporting and analysis, the operational insurance program renewal process, the construction insurance program, and special projects. The ideal candidate will be a team player and a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growing, dynamic environment. This person must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high proficiency with business software, i.e., Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and RMIS programs, along with a proven ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, as well as commercial insurance experience.Responsibilities:- Develops and maintains systems for tracking 1st and 3rd party certificates of insurance- Partners with the broker to procure any needed bonds for construction and licensing- Processes risk related invoices for payment while adhering to company guidelines, approving invoices within designated authority- Reconciles risk management invoices to department budgets- Manages the semi-annual actuarial process including communication with finance and accounting, leading walkthroughs of the report as needed- Designs and produces periodic reporting on key risk management metrics for variance audiences including department and company leadership- Works closely with claims staff to ensure accurate information is reported by the venues and captured by the various TPAs and carriers so that reporting is meaningful and effective- Partners with broker and Sr. Director of Risk Management to prepare renewal budgets for finance and accounting- Prepares and updates periodic claims financial reports for internal and external auditors- Analyzes loss experience as needed for special projects as requested by Directors of Risk Management and EH&S- Prepares ad-hoc business case documents showing estimated ROI for department initiatives- Manages owner-controlled insurance program procurement process- Gathers data and completes both operational and executive lines insurance applications for renewal- Oversees international insurance program renewal process- Oversight and management of RMIS vendor and associated programs- Manages carrier premium audit process- Partners with finance and accounting to ensure collateral obligations are met- Project manager for risk and insurance related vendor RFP's- Tracks key metrics for risk management performance goals and reports progress as needed- Additional tasks and project assistance as requested by supervisorSkills and Abilities:- The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with commercial insurance programs.- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities; proven experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and using judgment and initiative in problem resolution.- Professional discretion required when dealing with sensitive or confidential issues.- Skill in analyzing large, complex data sets and making actionable recommendations.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong customer service skills and professionalism, proven track record of ensuring satisfaction.- Excellent oral and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals at all levels in a fast-paced growing organization.- Experience in roles requiring the ability to work independently, anticipate next steps, take initiative, exercise discretion and sound judgment and work collaboratively as a member of the team.- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).- Proficiency in using risk management information systems required.- Infrequent travel and off-hours/weekend support may be required for this position.Experience and Education- 5-7 years' experience working as an analyst supporting property and casualty claims programs, as well as executive lines insurance- Familiarity with the insurance broking process- Candidates with restaurant, hospitality, or retail experience preferred- Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, or business administration preferred- MBA a plus- ARM, CIC, CRM, or CPCU preferred- Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirementsADAThe above statements cover what are generally believed to be principal and essential functions of the job.
