Torc is seeking a Middleware Engineer II to join their Middleware team, focusing on software development and design related to autonomous vehicle technologies.

Skills

Strong programming skills in C++
Networking and Linux operating systems expertise
Experience with ROS2 and DDS implementations
Familiar with modern software development tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA

Responsibilities

Responsible for software development lifecycle activities
Assist in root cause analysis of testing issues
Support team in daily assignments and progress reporting
Design and implement data acquisition systems from remote vehicles
Ensure software updates do not regress performance

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
