What you’ll do:

We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Analytics Lead to guide and shape our data strategy, ensuring the development of robust data models, impactful insights, and high-quality data products across the organisation. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who can drive data-driven decision-making, uphold data governance standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

As part of the Data team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Acquisition & Modelling: Leading collaboration with engineering teams to define data requirements and acquire third-party data. Owning the data modelling framework, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.
  • Analytics & Insight Generation: Promoting a data-driven approach across the business, collaborating with stakeholders to define KPIs and performance metrics. Generating actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Data Product Development: Leading the design and delivery of data products, establishing best practices for development, documentation, and maintenance.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Managing and mentoring a high-performing team of data analysts. Aligning team efforts with business priorities and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Implementing frameworks to ensure data integrity and trust. Overseeing metadata and documentation standards. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Protection Act).

Qualifications and skills:

  • Strong business acumen and proven track record of strong collaboration skills across multiple departments
  • Proven experience in data analytics, data modelling, and data governance.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in the modern data stack, cloud technologies, and analytics tools specifically Snowflake and dbt
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Protection Act).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
