The Tour Product Operations Manager will be the day-to-day contact for our tour partners, including attending regular partner calls, managing tour product positioning across our websites, and negotiating exclusive offers. You will be tasked with optimizing and expanding our tour partnerships to maximize the value of our efforts to our members, as well as drive results aligned to our internal business objectives around sales, conversion, and revenue.
This is a manager-level role that requires strong relationship and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manages tour supplier relationships, special offer and product promotion procurement
- Works with Product Operations Administrator to build tour promotional content within Compass system
- Leads initiatives to ensure tour product is displaying across platforms and co-brands with correct content & pricing
- Works to grow tour revenue and co-op marketing funding by an incremental amount (TBD)
- Provides specific tour product and content direction to the marketing team for key initiatives
- Acts as key liaison with our tour supplier contacts to gain and share insights on market trends, obtain brand announcements, and negotiate marketing opportunities
- Monitors and reports on tour sales activity and marketing initiatives
- Acts as liaison with tour suppliers and internal arrivia staff to help resolve any escalations for service or customer issues
- Monitor external tour and travel trends and make recommendations to adjust or react to current events and conditions
- Completes all other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in account / relationship management
- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally to achieve goals
- Ability to thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment
