Training Coordinator

In this role you are responsible for the coordination of training and education programs to ensure operations strategic goals are met in within the Kennewick facility (around 120 employees) specializing in producing the high precision titanium tube products for very demanding markets like Aerospace and Medical.

For that, you will report to the Human Resources Manager and will be responsible to organize and administer training and education programs for the organization, including employee orientation, on-the-job training, and EHS training. This position will be actively engaged on the production floor ensuring that required training is developed, scheduled, and completed effectively within the required timeframes. You provide leadership through effective communication and personal behavior, including fostering the culture of a learning organization.

Your responsibilities:

  • Participate in and support recruiting process for manufacturing operators
  • New Hire Orientation and Onboarding
  • Review training records and ensure that all employees are up to date with their training
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating communications monitors
  • Digitalization of our training records, checklist, and onboarding procedures.
  • Participate in flow managers white board meetings and communicate out relevant information.
  • The ability to think proactively and adapt to changing priorities is critical.
  • All employees are responsible for participating, supporting, and maintaining compliance to the company’s Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, policies, procedures, programs, and activities as defined within the company’s published management system documentation.

About You:

We are looking for someone with solid experience in supporting training and people development, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A High School diploma is required and Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience in human resources or technical environment is a plus.

You are detail-oriented, proactive, and have a proven history of successfully working on a project from start to finish. You take a hands-on approach to solving problems and delivering solutions.

Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, as are your organizational and trouble-shooting skills.

What you can expect from us

The salary range for this position is $54,200 to $81,200 annually with a 10% annual bonus and annual merit eligibility.

Additional elements of the compensation package include medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance. We offer paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year and a 401 (k) retirement savings plan that has a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you invest.
