Trane Technologies has an exciting and rewarding career opportunity for an HVAC Project Manager within our Turnkey Contracting group in West Columbia, SC. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead a talented project team through all facets of the project scope and life cycle and serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide project oversight and leadership to include project planning, scheduling, customer/stakeholder communication, project execution, change management, risk analysis, issue/complaint resolution, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. Our portfolio of projects will contain commercial/industrial HVAC installation projects of a wide variety of equipment types and vertical markets (i.e. hospitals, K-12 schools, office buildings, industrial/manufacturing, military bases, etc..).
This position is eligible for a flexible Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days office and/or job sites a week) and will be based out of our West Columbia, SC location. Relocation available for out of state candidates.
Please note: this position does include a company vehicle and is also classified as safety sensitive.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for change order management by recommending solutions, facilitating quotes and closing orders.
• Supports customer satisfaction initiatives by building customer relationships, investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, developing communication plans with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status.
• Creates and maintains project schedules generating task, dependencies, milestones, critical path, ability to identify future looking planning needs and resource constraints.
• Leads all aspects of project administration including, responsibility for understanding contract clauses, knowledge and risk mitigation of construction contract content language, validating project scope / cost / schedule, managing project compliance, project documentation, project safety guidelines, development and maintenance on project schedules, participating in pre-bid validation meetings, holding internal meetings, and establishing customer expectations.
• Financially manages all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, preparing and facilitating monthly project reviews, applied cost, buy-out plans, analyzes reporting to identify project deficiencies and provides guidance on corrective action, and knowledgeable on financial impacts when adjusting cost categories.
• Collaborates with technicians, team leads, and other PMs to establish project task, schedule requirements, communications for project progress, and review of plans / specifications and control submittals.
• Utilizes properly qualified subcontractors, oversees subcontractor RFQ process, awards subcontracts, manages subcontractor execution, collaborate with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines for project progress, project meetings, billing expectations, project safety and foster professional relationships with subcontractors.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.

Qualifications:
• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree a plus
• Combination of degree and/or 7-10 years’ experience in the field with HVAC or Construction Project Management
• Proficient at resource / manpower planning and scheduling
• Experience in leading teams comprised of different technical skill levels
• Experience working with building owners is preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
• DUI in the previous 5 years.
• Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Base Salary Pay Range: $90,000-120,000 / yr.
Total compensation for this role will include a 10% bonus/incentive plan.
