Locations: Tyler, Texas, Davidson, NC, Lacrosse, WI, Trenton, NJ.Job Summary:This Sr. Project Manager is responsible for working with Trane Residential HVAC teams to manage all aspects of programs, small to large scale projects, from start to finish, to ensure on-time and in-budget completion. This includes estimating costs, resources, time to complete, managing cross-functional teams, setting deadlines and communicating with company executives about the state of the project, and adjusting, if/when necessary, to meet new requirements.The position requires strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, the ability to challenge the status quo, drive innovative thinking and the capability to successfully manage and implement multiple projects. The selected individual will direct cross-functional teams to drive key organizational projects that will result in both short and long-term growth of the organization!Core Job Responsibilities (others may be added):• Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources.• Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.• Identify and managing potential risks of multiple projects.• Assist in the definition of project scope and goals.• Make effective decisions across multiple options for how to progress with the project.• Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple resources are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.• Communicate with Executives to keep project aligned with goals.• Perform quality control on project throughout development to maintain standards expected.• Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed.• Motivate people involved in the project to complete tasks on-time.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience leading projects is required.• PMP Certificate is preferred.Essential Skills or Knowledge:• Demonstrated success leading multi-functional teams through all project phases while managing risk and project budget• Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework• Proven leadership skills as well as cost and risk management skills• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills• Ability to make important decisions under pressure• Problem-solving skills• Ability to delegate effectively• Ability to prioritize, negotiate and manage changing deadlines• Proficient at defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusion using lean / six sigma methodologies• Exceptional organizational and analytical skillsCompensation:Base Pay Range: $80,000-130,000Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages.
