QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

· Master’s Degree from an accredited university

· Valid Texas Teacher Certification in Special Education Certification EC-12

· Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in Special Education

· Minimum of three (3) years of experience in VAC and/or High School transition planning

Special Knowledge & Skills

· Knowledge of Transition Laws

· Formal training and experience in conducting transition assessment

· Emphasis and/or experience working with all disability levels

· Demonstrated skill in communication- written and verbal

· Demonstrated skill in eSped, Skyward, and other commonly used technology and software
