Transportation Consultant- Blue Yonder TMS

The role of the Transportation Consultant- Blue Yonder TMS is to provide process and systems expertise for the breadth of processes and systems within the Corporate Transportation function of Kimberly-Clark.

In this role, you will:

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for functional and technical capabilities of Blue Yonder Cloud TMS

• Stay abreast of new BY Cloud TMS functional and technical capabilities and best practices through active benchmarking with other users, participation in key user conferences and knowledge sessions

• Develop and provide perspective regarding new system developments including know how of upgrades and new tools and the benefits of applying these developments to Corporate Transportation processes and current Blue Yonder deployment

• Help execute process and strategy improvements related to supply chain focused on transportation improvement projects

• Apply knowledge of Blue Yonder TMS functionality and transportation operations processes to optimize strategy execution while fully leveraging TMS capabilities

• Work cross-functionally to gather business requirements, document business processes and integration, assist with training and provide go-live support with new functionalities are being implemented.

The successful candidate will join the Transportation team and report to the Sr. Transportation Manager.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

• Bachelors or Advanced degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or other major with 3+ years of experience working in Supply Chain.

• 3+ years experience using Transportation Management Systems including Order Management, Planning, Execution, Visibility, Dock Scheduling & Appointments, and Shipping & Fleet Management. Experience with Blue Yonder is strongly preferred.

• Systems and data integration experience

• Cross-functional customer supply-chain knowledge and experience

• Project Management - Ability to lead cross-functional projects with minimal work direction

• Comfortable problem-solving technical issues with systems
