We are seeking to add a Transportation Specialist to play an integral role in our Fulfillment Organization! This role is responsible for providing support for the day-to-day Operations of the Outbound Transportation Team, Warehouse Team, and other Key Stakeholders (Hasbro and External Partners) relating to NA Fulfillment. This position will be responsible day to day carrier transportation processes which includes, running reports, overseeing internal business processes, coordination with the Distribution Center, coordination with local and national transportation providers, and providing operational analytics to support the Outbound Transportation Manager and other key members of the Fulfillment team.

A day in the life of a Transportation Specialist:

Coordinate and Conduct morning kickoff meeting with the DC team to determine carrier misses/issues.
Creation and Distribution of the daily Shipping Plan.
Monitor and Communicate equipment, ETA’s, change requests, appointments and drops.
Management of the on-site trailer pool and ensuring carrier commitments are met.
Constant communication with the DC team throughout day on current loading status.
Escalations and additional communication with all stakeholders as needed.
In-Transit report monitoring and resolution.
Provide Analytics support for the Transportation team on a regional, national, and global level.
Additional tasks as requested from Hasbro Team.

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2-4 Years’ experience working with Domestic Trucking carriers (TL/LTL).
Knowledge of Distribution Center Operations.
Ability to be on site daily with occasional weekend or remote/afterhours work (EOM/EOQ).
Experience in domestic Transportation Operations – Specifically related to TL/LTL Carriers
Working knowledge of SAP/ERP.
Ability to operate within Smartsheets and pull-out data to resolve and present.
Ability to Clearly and Concisely Communicate Cross Functionally
A highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills with proven problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Flexible and adaptable; Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to clearly convey relevant information to a broad spectrum of audiences.
Cultural awareness that facilitates developing effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
Ability to acquire new skills and conduct research independently.
Strong Excel skills.
