Job Location: Remote- United StatesThis role is a remote position in the US. At Tripadvisor, we want you to bring your unique identities, abilities, and experiences, so we can collectively revolutionize travel and together find the good out there.The equity consultant will be part of the Global Compensation team that supports and partners with many of the People Operations functions and will report to the Sr Director of Global Compensation.That team is responsible for all the job leveling (grades) in the organization, base pay management, variable pay programs (both sales and non-sales) and equity design and administration where this role sits. It is hands-on and has global reach, interacting with clients in all geographies where Tripadvisor has employees. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday and Fidelity PSW, as well as experience managing internal (employees) and external (vendors) stock administration processes.What You'll Do:• Administers and manages all aspects related to communication and compliance of employee equity awards company-wide (mostly RSUs, but also PSUs and Stock Options).• Analyzes and communicates performance of equity plan and grant practices to executive staff and internal stakeholders, up to the CEO.• Active participant to the preparation of the Board of Directors and Compensation Committee materials (Section 16 Officers and NEOs).• Provide assistance in Executive Compensation matters.• Partners very closely with Legal, Finance and Tax to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory, internal and external reporting and requirements for equity plans and SEC disclosures: Proxy, form 10K, CEO pay ratio, etc.• Prepares and distributes grant documentation and agreements globally for all active grants.• Evaluates best practices and developments in applicable laws to drive changes in equity plan design and implementation.• Assess equity tax implications and recommends actions globally, especially for countries where sub-plans are or could be in place like France, UK and for mobile employees.• Support the Annual Compensation process on all questions related to Equity (budget,• guidelines).• In conjunction with internal partners, develops reporting and internal review processes and systems, employee communication and education programs, and grant recording and tracking mechanisms.• Maintains employee equity database, updating information and running required and requested summary and detail reports (Fidelity).• Answers employee and HRBP questions and resolves problems regarding equity plans and grants via our internal Knowledge Database (ServiceNow).• Processes transactions with outsourced vendors and brokers for employee equity vehicles.• Manages relationships with outsourced tax and securities vendors and brokers for the US and outside the US countries.Skills & Experience:• Experience: Bachelors degree and 8-12 years of related work experience. Masters degree and 4-8 years of related work experience.• Experience with Fidelity and the PSW platform is a real plus• Master level subject-matter expert• Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We mayultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
