Marketing Database Analyst

Position Summary:

The Marketing Database Analyst will own all marketing and customer data across the organization. This includes ensuring the data currently in the database is clean and free of duplicates as well as adding new data from both internal and external sources. The analyst will also analyze the data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve marketing strategies and campaigns.

Essential Job Functions:

Collecting and importing data from various sources into the marketing databases including Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
Cleaning and validating data to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
Oversee data hygiene and governance across all marketing platforms.
Organizing and structuring data in a way that allows for easy analysis and reporting.
Conduct regular data audits to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve marketing strategies and campaigns.
Creating and running reports to track and measure marketing performance.
Manage Salesforce lead uploads and lead queues.
Work with Marketing Partners to provide them with segmented lists for strategic email campaigns as well as consolidate, analyze, and provide insights on these campaigns.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management and analysis.
Ad hoc data-related projects.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of previous database management experience.
Prior Salesforce experience.
Salesforce Admin a plus.
Expert-level Excel user.
Experience with Pardot, Marketo, Marketing Cloud or similar a plus.
Experience with deduplication tools.

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for a yearly bonus. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$70,000—$85,000 USD

The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other related occasional work that may be assigned or is completed by the employee.
