As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.TSMC Arizona’s Human Resources Business Partner team is responsible for partnering with leadership, meeting business needs, and upholding the core values.Job Description:Your main responsibilities include:General responsibility of the Human Resources Business Partner• Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.• Consults with line management, department and director level providing HR guidance when appropriate.• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.• Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.• Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.• Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.• Identifies training needs for business units and individual leadership coaching needs.• Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success as well as facilitates training programs. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.• Ability to produce graphs, PowerPoints, tables, pivots and use spreadsheets efficiently for data organization and reporting.• Ability to uphold and apply core values of Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Trust.• Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment, and bridge cultural gaps when necessary.• Must work in office.• Performs other related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or closely related field.• Minimum 2 years’ Human Resources work experience• 1 year’s Human Resources work experience in Semiconductor industry• 1 year’s Human Resources work experience or closely related field in Manufacturing industry.• The ability to travel to Taiwan for business trips for up to 3 months.• Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.• Proficiency in oral and written communication in Mandarin (optional).• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel concepts and functions, and the ability to independently complete a range of real-world tasks.• Creating advanced Excel tables and charts.• Applying custom data layouts and formats to worksheets.• Managing various settings and options in workbooks.• Generating advanced formulas.• Using Excel graphics to create visual data representations.• Ability to work in an office environment for long periods sitting, standing, and moving around.• Ability to work various or long hours (avg. 50 hours per week) to meet business needs when necessary.• Ability to lift at least up to 20 lbs. when necessary.• Must pass thorough background check and drug screening.Work Location: Phoenix, AZTraining Location: Phoenix, AZTravel: 15% including International travel
