Director, Microsoft Alliance

The Microsoft Alliance Director is responsible for creating joint engagement plans with Microsoft, then driving the execution of those plans. This position works across all parts of the organization to identify, cultivate, and leverage opportunities with Microsoft.  This role is also responsible for the strategic planning and go to market activities for key solutions and intellectual property that support TTEC Digital's core offerings and target vertical industries. Further, this position involves a high level of responsibility requiring excellent management skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex issues to people with all levels of technical aptitude. 


What You'll Be Doing
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with Microsoft for TTEC Digital.
  • Creates annual joint business plans with Microsoft.  These plans will include joint sales engagement activities, training (both delivery and sales), vendor certifications & qualifications and investment funding.   Plans should include joint sales volume targets.
  • Provides guidance on Microsoft Go To Market Strategy and working with Marketing and Sales to develop collateral in support of the strategy.
  • Externally, serves as the “Voice of TTEC Digital,” ensuring Microsoft is educated on our capabilities and aligning our strategic goals.
  • Internally, serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on how we engage with Microsoft, ensuring sales enablement as well as access to partner’s technical resources; also serves as the point person for evangelizing the Microsoft platform for internally generated leads.
  • Proactively leverages our strategic relationship to increase both volume and velocity of our sales pipeline, including channel selling arrangements.
  • Evaluates, builds and operates additional industry alliances relationships that increase the depth of our solutions and/or create additional sales channels for our solutions.
  • Strategizes with TTEC Digital technical resources and marketing to develop solutions plays which resonate with Microsoft sellers and are differentiated from other Microsoft partner competition.
  • Works with Microsoft partner resources to understand available Microsoft programs and offerings.
  • Ensures TTEC Digital is eligible and compliant with all appropriate programs and ensure TTEC sales, marketing and customer success teams have the information they require to utilize said programs.


What You Bring to the Role
  • 10+ years of work-related alliance & partnership experience with demonstrated business and sales acumen.
  • Deep experience within the Microsoft partner ecosystem is a must have.
  • Proven track record of driving joint business results through alliance relationships.
  • Demonstrated cross functional collaboration skills with ability to influence others with or without direct authority to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities and excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Self-directed personality with attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate advanced technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft platforms and related capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Global experience is highly preferred.


What You Can Expect
  • The anticipated range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $150,000 to $170,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.  
  • Benefits available to eligible employees include the following: Medical, dental, vision, tax-advantaged health care accounts, financial and income protection benefits, paid time off (PTO) and wellness time off.
