Talent Acquisition Lead

Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the recruitment and talent acquisition strategy for TTX Company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in recruiting and a passion for attracting top talent. The Talent Acquisition Lead will work closely with department heads and hiring managers to ensure that the company attracts, hires, and retains the best talent to support our organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s goals and business objectives.• Team Leadership: Develop and train recruiters that are supporting TTX hiring needs to ensure an understanding of the culture and business and to enhance the team’s performance.• Recruitment Process: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, offer management and on-boarding. Ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process for candidates and hiring managers.• Talent Sourcing: Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals) to identify and attract top talent. Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.• Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Provide guidance on market trends, salary benchmarks, and candidate expectations.• Employer Branding: Enhance and promote the company’s employer brand to attract top talent. Develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies and campaigns.• Data Management: Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to track and improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process.• Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with relevant labor laws and company policies. Maintain accurate and confidential records of candidate information.• Onboarding Management: Oversee and ensure the completion of all onboarding tasks, including I-9 verification, background checks, new hire orientation, and other pre-employment requirements to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR) are a plus.• 5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition• Proven track record of managing a recruitment process and successfully filling a variety of roles in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to drive our values: Know our Business, Serve our Railroad Customers, Seek Excellence, Do the Right Thing and Live Safety• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases (Oracle preferred)• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making and improve processes.• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Preferred Skills:• Experience in the railroad industry• Familiarity with advanced sourcing techniques and tools.Experience in managing recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.• PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:(The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
