Your Role And Impact

Great customer support is pivotal in reaching our mission to put the world's 1.5 billion cars to better use. As a Product Designer on the Guest Success team, you will elevate our support agent software to new heights, enabling our customers to more quickly and easily get the help they need and allow our support teams to operate seamlessly at scale.

Some examples of the product surfaces you might work on include designing tools that help enable our support agents to deliver helpful solutions for our guests unique trip needs or helping guests quickly resolve on-trip problems.

You will be supported by an incredible Product Design, Design Systems, and UX Research team based at Turo HQ in San Francisco and by a company that values Design as an equal partner in developing pioneering products that are fundamentally re-shaping the future of shared transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Design Execution: Own the user experience for your projects end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design workshops, and crafting north star vision for future of Guest Success. Create, and iterate on IA, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals across Web, iOS, Android.
  • Strategic planning and collaboration: Collaborate with product design, research, and engineering teams to develop tools that empower support agents to provide tailored solutions for guests' trip needs.
  • Design Impact: Steer your team towards solutions that intuitively meet customer needs and achieve successful business outcomes, informed by robust user research and data analytics.
  • Design Systems: Be a bar-raiser by collaborating with our design systems team and contributing to our shared design libraries.
  • Design Vision: Partner with design and product teams to deliver innovative ‘north star’ designs that deliver new value and drive Turo forward, embodying our commitment to redefining the car-sharing experience through design.

Your Profile:

  • At least 5 years of experience launching high impact, high quality design work
  • Minimum of 3 years in designing web/mobile products that have been successfully shipped to the public, demonstrating deep expertise in native mobile design.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing your work and process. This should include examples of design work you're most proud of and detailed narratives of how your design contributions led to quantifiable business and user experience improvements, and end-to-end product flows that demonstrate a holistic user experience understanding.
  • Track record of leveraging qualitative and quantitative data, using these insights to develop strong design hypotheses and inform strategic design direction.
  • A strong commitment to a user-centered approach in designing software, focusing on understanding and meeting customers' real needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in working cross-functionally to drive design strategy, vision, and execution, effectively collaborating with teams across product, engineering, and data.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach to working with others, valuing teamwork and collective problem-solving.
  • Flexibility, self-direction, and good judgment.

Additional considerations

  • Frequent travel to Scottsdale, AZ (estimated at 2x a year)
  • *Bonus*: Experience working in a support organization or working on internal tools

 

The SF base salary target range for this full-time position is $124,000-$155,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your work location during the hiring process. Please note that the salary range listed in this posting reflects the base salary only, and does not include bonus (if applicable), equity, or benefits.
