Skills
DevOps expertise
Solid development skills in Python, Go, and/or Java
Knowledge of security best practices and attack patterns
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Vulnerability & Patch Management
Experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS
Experience in containerized environments and GitOps flow
Responsibilities
Improving the Security of Turo’s Infrastructure
Mitigating security issues and vulnerabilities in Cloud, Container, and Kubernetes infrastructure
Building security tools for critical infrastructure protection and monitoring
Improving internal log aggregation and implementing Security Alerting and Monitoring
Identifying and addressing gaps in apps and services security
Contributing to security compliance challenges by proposing innovative approaches and technologies
Education
BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent industry experience
