Summary of Position: As a Campus Ambassador Supervisor at The Princeton Review, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a strong brand presence on university and college campuses nationwide. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of campus ambassadors who will serve as enthusiastic and knowledgeable representatives of The Princeton Review. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for education and student engagement.                                    

Major Responsibilities:

  • Management:
  • Supervise and support campus ambassadors in their day-to-day activities, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • In coordination with manager, set clear performance expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs) for ambassadors.
  • Work with manager to conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews to assess individual, team progress, and to relay important updates, goals, and expectations.
  • Recruitment and Training:
  • Assist with implementing strategies for recruiting campus ambassadors from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with university contacts, student organizations, and academic departments to identify potential ambassadors.
  • Conduct interviews and select candidates based on their communication skills, enthusiasm, and alignment with The Princeton Review's values.
  • Provide ongoing training sessions to keep ambassadors updated on the latest offerings and industry trends.
  • Program Coordination and Event Planning:
  • Plan and coordinate on-campus events, product launches, promotions campaigns, and activities to increase brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with campus groups, organizations, and student leaders to maximize outreach.
  • Communication:
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with ambassadors, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Collaborate with the partnership teams to coordinate campus events, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Brand Advocacy:
  • Empower campus ambassadors to effectively represent The Princeton Review at various on campus events, orientations, academic fairs, and to create and share content promoting the brand on social media and other platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of campus ambassador activities on brand perception while ensuring consistency with The Princeton Review’s values and messaging.
  • Feedback and Reporting:
  • Gather feedback from campus ambassadors and students to continually improve the program.
  • Compile regular reports on ambassador activities, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance ambassador effectiveness.
  • Activity Tracking:
  • Ensure team is tracking activity in a complete and timely manner using internal systems.
  • Adaptable Responsibilities:
  • Undertake other duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and readiness to contribute to the overall success of the team.

Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least three years of professional experience in sales, client/customer relationship building management, partnership development, and/or event promotion in the test preparation, admissions, or education space required.
  • Experience managing successful teams and motivating employees to succeed.
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and optimistic demeanor with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dynamic speaker with the ability to present to large groups of students and faculty members, both in-person and virtually.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A driven self-starter with a desire to meet and exceed goals. 
  • Ability to manage your own time and work remotely while effectively managing a geographically dispersed team.
  • An ethic of personal responsibility; holding yourself accountable on behalf of your team.
  • Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to travel throughout the area and work remotely via platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • In-depth knowledge of area geography and target schools a plus.

Salary: $44,144 - $58,384 per year, based on a 40-hour work week.

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
