Animator is needed in Chicago, United States.Client: ZyngaLocation: Chicago, ILContract: Full-time, Full-timeJob DescriptionZynga is a global leader in interactive entertainment, seeking a Senior Game Play Animator to join Echtra Games on a new AAA cross-platform ARPG project. The successful candidate will create a wide range of animations for various characters and creatures to enhance the in-game world. This role requires working closely with the Animation Director and collaborating with artists and game designers to align with the artistic vision.Requirements• A demonstration reel showcasing a strong understanding of the principles of animation.• 3+ years of industry experience as an Animator within a Maya-based pipeline.• Excellent communication skills to enhance team dynamics and iterate on feedback.• A self-motivated artist with a team-player attitude and a passion for animation.• Demonstrated use and understanding of the Unreal Game engine.• Experience in various animation styles from realistic to snappy pose-to-pose.• Ability to process and incorporate Motion Capture into animation sequences.• Experience building animation suites to support motion matching.• Familiarity with animating Meta Human and/or other complex facial systems.• Ability to communicate visually through drawings or paintovers.• A passion for games and visual storytelling.• Committed to delivering work that exceeds the standard of “good enough.”BenefitsZynga offers a competitive salary, bonus plan, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
