About the Role We are seeking a talented and creative Project-Based Video Editor to join GhoulzTube, LLC in Spokane Valley, WA, where you'll help bring high-energy, family-friendly Fortnite content to life for YouTube and other social media platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for editing both long-form and short-form videos, collaborating closely with the Content Creator and Creative Manager to maintain the channel's unique style and vision. This hybrid position allows for a mix of in-studio and remote work options, with flexible part-time hours. Key Responsibilities Edit and assemble raw footage into both long-form and short-form videos, ensuring top-notch quality and alignment with GhoulzTube's brand voice. Provide creative input on structure, pacing, and visual storytelling to boost engagement. Integrate graphics, animations, and effects to enhance video content and maintain branding consistency. Manage audio elements, including syncing, level adjustments, and the incorporation of background music and sound effects. Collaborate effectively with the creative team to understand project goals and implement feedback. Organize video files and assets for an efficient workflow and easy project access. Stay up-to-date with editing trends and YouTube best practices to maximize video engagement. Requirements Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of both long-form and short-form work. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software; knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus. Strong creative and storytelling skills, with attention to detail and adherence to brand standards. Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with flexibility to adapt to feedback. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with YouTube, including SEO, audience engagement, and monetization strategies. Understanding of Average View Duration (AVD) and strategies to optimize video retention.
