Fraud Analyst

Two Dots is using AI to remake the way consumer underwriting is done, starting with residential real estate. Most consumer’s most important financial information is locked up in documents, and we’ve built technology that is able to harness this data to make better lending decisions.  We’ve coupled this underwriting agent with advanced document and identity anti-fraud, and we’re working toward democratizing sophisticated consumer underwriting for all. 

After raising our Series A, we are growing rapidly! And could use your expertise to help us become the new standard in consumer underwriting.

Please note that we require all full-time employees to work from our office in Venice Beach, CA.

Role overview: 

As a Fraud Analyst at Two Dots, you will use AI digital forensics tools to catch small time financial fraudsters at scale.

This job does not require coding or software development experience, just strong basic math skills and the ability to piece together clues. It’s a little bit like being a detective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use AI tools to build financial profiles of consumers (analyzing income and assets)

  • Detect edited or forged documentation 

  • Prevent identity theft via picture ID analysis and analyzing identify databases

  • Identify shell companies and illegitimate job offers

  • Explain sometimes complicated analysis results to a diverse array of clients

Compensation is variable and is subject to a candidate’s personal qualifications and expectations. For this role, we offer the following base salary range, in addition to an equity package and full benefits: $85,000 - $100,000 per year.
