Job Description

The Product Intern role resides as part of the Finance Tech Systems team within Corporate IT and directly supports various business groups include Finance and Product teams.  The team is responsible for ensuring that these business function enhancements and projects are planned, managed, executed, and governed in a consistent, transparent, and disciplined manner. 

The Product Intern position is an individual contributor role based in our Bangalore office.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with business stakeholders to manage intake of requirements for projects

  • Assess requirements and break them down into user stories and JIRA tickets.

  • Create business process diagrams for as-is and to-be processes

  • Design process flows and User interface mockups

  • Facilitate prioritization and communicate status of product backlog and release scope

  • Create JIRA dashboards for reporting needs

  • Perform data analysis and create presentations for updates and driving decision making

  • Participate in demos and provide feedback to development team

  • Perform testing of features as developed by delivery team and provide feedback

  • Create training material and educate users on as needed basis.

  • Work with limited direction, usually within a complex environment, to drive delivery of solutions

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, graduating by December 2026, or less than a year removed from university program
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Experience working with product requirements and specification to perform requirement elaboration
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience designing and creating technical solutions based on high level requirements
• Experience of performing data analysis, Documenting process, designs and test results
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI
• Knowledge of agile development practices (especially Scrum and / or Kanban), methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, Rally)
• Strong conceptual and analytic skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a broad group of stakeholders.
