2nd Shift-Production Trainer 6-Center, TX

Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the delivery of Tyson Foods orientation programs at the designated facility to supervisor/management, clerical/management support and hourly team members. This position is also responsible for assisting with special events training. This position will interact regularly with Training Coordinator, assistant hourly trainers, and hourly team members. Other duties include: facilitate new hire orientation to include safety, policies and procedures, knife skills, food safety, etc.; complete required documentation for training sessions; assimilate new team members to assigned jobs; follow-up on a daily basis with hourly team members on the production floor; assist with clerical tasks such as data entry for training tracking, etc.; plan and schedule participants and specific training programs; monitor and track performed training; assist in developing and updating Job Safety Analysis and job breakdown sheets; ensure all needed training material is in stock; seek and continually assess ways to improve orientation and new hire training; other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: 1 + years' experience in training or food processing
(preferred).
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software
preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: 1 to 3 trips per year
