Challenge
As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will support an existing Salesforce CRM as the organization manages its incredible growth and expansion. You will partner with cross-divisional product and technical teams to evaluate, scope, design, prioritize, and complete new platform development in support of organizational strategic priorities. Assess the impact of new requirements on the existing platform as well as all upstream and downstream applications, systems, integrations, and processes.
What you'll do
• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
• Lead the technical planning, design, and implementation of Salesforce projects.
• Assess the impact of new requirements on the existing platform as well as all upstream and downstream applications, systems, integrations, and processes.
• Customize and configure Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, process builders, and Apex triggers.
• Develop and maintain Lightning Components, Visualforce pages, and Salesforce integrations with third-party systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior Salesforce developers and administrators.
• Perform regular system maintenance, including data management, security configurations, and system upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce performance, security, and functionality
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of Salesforce data and integrations.
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates, best practices, and new features, and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to Salesforce configurations and customizations.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Remain current with Salesforce releases, best practices, and new features; recommend improvements to enhance NPR’s Salesforce environment
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills
• Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, data models, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
Nice-to-have
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator) are highly desirable.
Non-technical skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail oriented, energetic, and a problem solver who finds multiple paths forward through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual, with a desire to create mutually beneficial outcomes
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
