Are you a leader with a track record of high quality operational execution and transformation?UBS is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned individual to help lead our Alternative Investment lifecycle and event capture team. This role will navigate complex processes and numerous stakeholders, while helping to drive a critical processing in support of our ambitious growth strategy.Your Role:• Oversee front-to-back service delivery and transaction capture for Alternatives fund relationships• Manage the Alternative Investment lifecycle processes to ensure that transactions are reflected accurately in the official books and records. Work with fund administrators to align records and ensure consistent reporting• Identify and work with all channels to remediate product and service gaps, overlaps and deficiencies• Understand the end-to-end client journey and how your product solves pain points along that journey• Drive and implement process excellence initiatives, as well as strategic change with the onboarding of third-party solutions to automate legacy processes.• Ensure quality deliverables and manage to aggressive timelines, managing multiple concurrent priorities• Proactively identify value added solutions to implement change initiatives which will move the business forward• Evaluate risk management procedures with a focus on continuous improvement• Administer daily operating calls Alternative Investments business, technology, and operations staff to ensure risk remains well managed and our clients remain satisfiedPerform mandatory daily functions of:• Supervision of processing activities, balancing, and transaction capture• Manage review of all ledgers, events, and trades• Tracking of Key Events by reaching out to relationship managers of key fund partners• Handle vendor management (Broadridge / iCapital) happenings or incidentsYour teamThe Alternative Investments Operations team supports the full front-to-back trade, client, and asset lifecycle for Alternative Investment products. We work closely with our branch (Financial Advisors) and business partners to support business growth, manage key risk, and provide top-tier service to our Wealth Management clients. The team is currently engaged in several strategic efforts to automate the current operating model and to unlock business growth, providing great experience for professionals seeking to make a lasting impact on a great team.Your expertise• Track record of process improvement, project work, or similar experience• Strong experience in either Process Improvement or Alternative Investments is required. Both is preferred• Organized team player with an agile mindset• Recognize and effectively manage risk• Precisely execute detail-oriented tasks• Prioritize multiple issues while delivering within a fast-paced and dynamic environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor to your audience• Demonstrated ability to understand complex operational processes.• Able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting needs• Strong people and project management, ability to operate at high level of autonomy• Comfortable interacting with all levels of managementAbout UsUBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
