Being agile will make us more responsive, more adaptable, and ultimately more innovative.We’re looking for QA Automation Test Engineer to:• create test plan, reporting on testing progress, completion report for application releases and ensuring defect management• performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality, accessibility• manage, monitor and improve the infrastructure• develop custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity• define the automation book of work, collaborating with our team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation• comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plansYour teamIn our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Save, protect and grow team in Pune, focusing on Advisory Portfolio Management business area. This area covers portfolio management, model management, trading and reconciliation. It strengthens our business and brings value to our clients.Your expertise• ideally 10+ years of experience in the software testing industry with hands on experience in automation testing tools, such as selenium• prior experience in agile methodologies and prior knowledge of trade lifecycle is an advantage• familiar with relational databases testing and knowledge of wrting sql queries for testing is a must• familiar with of gitlab, ci/cd pipeline, maven, autosys jobs, cucumber and api testing• complying with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plan• creation test plan, reporting on testing progress, completion report for application releases and ensuring defect management• performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality, accessibility and should have excellent knowledge of software testing life cycle• co-ordination between business users team for testing sign off• hands-on experience in GitLab-facilitated software delivery• exposure to Banking Domain will be a plus• excellent communication skills and experience in liaising with other teamsAbout usUBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
