SDET/QA Automation Engineer with Python 2.7

An international company specializing in the development of modern operating systems for hosting providers is looking for a SDET/QA Automation Engineer with Python 2.7 to join its team!

The organization has been on the market since 2009. The company's products are used by thousands of companies around the world, they have over 4,500 clients including Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, Zoom and others.

You will be working in a team that focuses on delivering solutions to streamline and optimize system operations, with a particular focus on legacy and unsupported operating systems. This includes developing tools and packages for maintaining compatibility with older OS versions.

It is a fully remote company with flexible hours with a team mostly based in CET.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the existing testing system in a working order
  • Execute tests, verify results, troubleshoot, fix, and refine the process
  • Add new functionality
  • Keep tech documentations up to date
  • Debug and fix package failures from updates
  • Document product environments
  • Develop/maintain Python test automation (Jenkins)
  • Configure test environments for customer cases
  • Extend CI/CD test coverage
  • Collaborate with C/Python devs
  • 4+ years general experience in QA 
  • 2+ years experience in QA Automation 
  • 2+ years of hands-on commercial experience in Python
  • Experience or familiarity with Python 2.7 
  • Strong expertise in Linux 
  • Confident experience with Jenkins
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD
  • Bash/Shell scripting experience
  • Practical experience with DevOps principles in automation engineering (Docker, Ansible)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes
  • English B2
