We’re looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to help manage our supplier relationships and keep our purchase ledger running smoothly. If you have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role and pride yourself on your organisation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, this is your chance to thrive in a team that strives for best-in-class performance across every workstream.

Key Tasks

  • Responsible for accounts payable inboxes and query management
  • Invoice, credit note, and purchase order processing
  • Supplier account maintenance, including VAT code verification
  • Ownership of supplier ledgers, accountable for variances and discrepancies
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Remittance communication
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly payment run processing
  • Bank payment uploads
  • Assistance in upskilling junior team members

Additional tasks (experience not required):

  • Historic ledger reconciliation
  • Sale payment reconciliation
  • Process project assistance
  • Supplier contract management
  • Support the Finance Manager with weekly cashflows
  • Daily bank balance management
  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience, at least 2 years’ is desirable.
  • Excellent organisation skills and very diligent.
  • Thrive within a fast past environment and have the desire to match the business growth ambitions.
