Unarmed Security Officer

"Security Officer - Atlanta Metro Area

Seeking security professionals who are detail oriented for both full and part-time positions in the metro Atlanta area. Our officers are typically responsible for a variety of security tasks, such as:

• Patrolling on foot or in a vehicle;
• Interacting and communicating with client employees, company guests, and vendor personnel;
• Reinforcing site-specific access control requirements, general security procedures, and safety policies;
• Coordinating with emergency first responders ;
• Maintaining a high-visibility profile;
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout the shift - every day & every shift.

Requirements

• Must be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have ability to be at work on time.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a complex background investigation and a post-offer / pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for periods of time.

Pay Range: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing this job, individual will walk, stand, sit, observe and drive for extended periods of time in various weather conditions; run, climb stairs, and carry fire extinguishers or other emergency equipment; help restrain or lift a person; occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds; frequently required to use hands, handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus; self-motivation and ability to work independent of immediate supervision.
