Responsibilities

Performs breast ultrasound procedures. Assists with evaluations of equipment and procedures. Liaison for ultrasound interdepartmental procedures. Assumes role of Lead as required.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • RTBS (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Breast) and MAMMRAD:AZ (Certified Mammography Rad Tech in AZ), or RDMSBR (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) 
  • BLS-CPR
  • Completion of hospital-based ultrasound training program.

Preferred: 

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Cerner experience.
  • Associate degree or higher college level degree
  • ARDMS BR - Breast Certified

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
