JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Applied Research Laboratory is seeking undergraduate students for internship opportunities within the Biodefense Initiative. Typical duties for students will include assisting with literature searches and reviews for a wide variety of biological topics, drafting summary reports from literature reviews, participating in technical meetings, reviewing and providing input to technical reports, white papers and other project documents.
Students studying Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Agriculture, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology or related areas are encouraged to apply. Experience with literature reviews and technical writing are desired. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer.
This is a paid internship located at ARL’s Main Laboratory at the University Park Campus; relocation and housing are not provided. Candidate selected may be subject to a government security investigation.
