Zurich North America is currently hiring an Underwriting Services Specialist II to join the Operations team! As an Underwriting Services Specialist II, you will provide advanced processing support for routine to moderately complex business transactions. This is a hybrid work position, however, the candidate selected for this opportunity should be able to report into the following North American office location: Schaumburg, IL.
In this role you will be responsible to:
Support Zurich Producer appointment and licensing activities by accessing various systems and tools to retrieve, verify and input data related to Agency and Agent demographic, license, and appointment information.
Interact with Distributor Partners and Zurich staff to obtain necessary information to resolve License and Appointment issues referring to policies, procedures, standards.
Processes all work within department standards and articulate key regulatory and compliance impacts.
Respond to inquiries quickly and completely, provide status updates.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1 or more years of experience in the Customer Service or Transactional Operations area
OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and No prior experience required in the Customer Service or Transactional Operations area
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent customer service orientation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to produce a quality work product with detail and accuracy
Experience working in a high-volume, production environment
Advanced data entry skills
