The Coordinator on the People Operations team is in many ways the face of the People Team for all new employees joining Unify. As the Coordinator, you will be responsible for the expeditious and seamless onboarding (virtual and in-person) of all new Unify employees, our firm’s most valued asset. From shepherding the new Unifier from the point where they learn that we’ve found them their dream client engagement and confirmed their start date, to ensuring a smooth technical set-up, facilitating an engaging onboarding meeting that covers Unify’s values, culture, expectations, and benefits, and confirming that they have been accurately set up in UKG Pro and appropriate pre-employment steps have been coordinated, and their electronic employee file set-up.
As part of our rapid growth of Unify, this person may average onboarding up to ten new employees per week across multiple states. We’ve got tremendous opportunity to drive improvements and efficiencies; along with a positive, can-do attitude, bringing the mindset of continual process improvement will be critical.
This role also has exposure and will provide support to all aspects of the HR functions spanning across, payroll, employee relations, compliance, training, and people analytics it’s the expectation of this role to use insights from all areas of the business to keep onboarding current and relevant. The role will also participate and partner with members of the People Team by fielding employee inquiries from the People Team inbox, administrative support in sending incentive and bonus plans, verification of employment, and the offboarding process for departing Unifiers. It’s a key support role where detail orientation, organization, bias for action, and professional poise and polish are essential.
