Director, Talent and Organizational EffectivenessPreferred Location: This position will work in a hybrid model (virtual and office). Candidates must reside within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection, with the minimum in-office commitment being 1-2 days in the office per week.The Director, Talent and Organizational Effectiveness is responsible for providing thought leadership, strategy, vision and continuously improving key OE and Talent processes, tools, and resources, including design and execution of the organization design and effectiveness programs/initiatives across the entire organization. Team Effectiveness Toolkit, OE Hub, New Leader Assimilation and Key Stakeholder Review Playbooks.How you will make an impact:- Lead a team of Talent Management Consultants responsible for developing and maintaining OE and Talent tools/resources, facilitating leadership and team development sessions, and supporting Talent Business- Partners in the design and execution of business-facing Talent and OE efforts.- Manage the team's work portfolio. Supporting execution of enterprise Talent and OE practices and processes (e.g., talent reviews and succession planning, critical role identification, performance management).- Work with the Staff VP, OE and Talent and the Talent Business partners to balance/re-balance, as needed, to ensure the team is focused on the most important, highest value work.- Remain current on workplace and workforce trends and innovations.- Leverage data and research to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement in organization and talent processes and practices with a focus on developing scalable solutions.- Build business capabilities in the areas of organizational and process design, talent, team and organizational effectiveness.- Develop strong business relationships to understand business needs and opportunities for organization improvement.- Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to: diagnose organization effectiveness issues, collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data as part of that analysis, generate human capital recommendations to address performance gaps and build required capability, and craft high impact implementation plans.- Assist organization in designing effective matrix structures to support enterprise goals and priorities.- Drive adoption of agile organizational models to drive enhanced organizational flexibility.- Partnering with senior leadership to activate an organizational strategy, including structure and process, to align with the newly defined organizational designs.- Aligns change management and communication activities to facilitate understanding and adoption of new structures, roles and processes.- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to integrate our values and guiding behaviors and competencies into our processes and policies.Minimum Requirements:- Requires a BA/BS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a minimum of 7 years related experience and minimum of 5 years leadership experience or any combination of education and experience, that would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:- Strongly preferred experience in designing and implementing organizational and talent strategies and practices.- Master's degree strongly preferred.For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $155,000 to $279,000.Locations: California; Colorado; District of Columbia (Washington, DC), New York.In addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
