Unit Assistant - Full Time Days

Supports surgeons and nurses by completing various duties in the operating room to ensure safe patient care.

Operating Room:

Level III Trauma

• About 6,500 surgical cases annually.

• Offer all specialties except ENT and Eye. This includes but not limited to neuro and spine.

• 10 operating rooms total, 2 of them are dedicated to the CVOR.

• 24/7 365 days a year.
  

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Work schedule may include 8-12 hours per day with weekend coverage based on individual unit needs. Weekend call included.

• Personnel are expected to cover for absences by rotating or working extra shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• One year related experience in a hospital preferred.
