Growing together.The Compliance Manager will serve as a compliance professional within the bank, primarily responsible for administering the 2nd line activities within the bank compliance risk management program in accordance with the framework adopted by bank management and the board of directors.The position will establish and oversee internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs designed to prevent and monitor for violations of law, rule, or regulation within the bank servicing and operations functions. The role will work closely with other compliance teams in order to partner to develop and apply solutions that meet business and customer needs in a manner consistent with the framework.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:• The Compliance Manager will support the Bank and its Servicing and Operations functions by participating, as a Compliance subject matter expert, in the support and oversight of those functions• Support bank projects and new initiatives to ensure compliance and control requirements are captured and implemented• Review and advise on procedure design satisfactorily captures compliance requirements• Review and advise on servicing communications, training and job aids ensuring content satisfactorily captures compliance requirements• Support the oversight of vendors and affiliates in the performance of compliance obligations within the contact service center and operations environments• Support the Bank complaint management program to facilitate appropriate capture and root cause analysis of complaints against the servicing and operations functions• Support other compliance teams and functions in the performance of those duties, such as compliance testing and risk assessments• Keep abreast of changing laws and regulations relating to bank productsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.R equired Qualifications:• 6+ years of compliance/risk management experience in a financial services environment• Proven understanding of regulatory expectations on financial services providers• Proven effective written documentation, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment• Proven excellent critical thinking skills and ability to work within tight time constraints• Ability to creatively develop training materials and other communications as appropriatePreferred Qualifications:• CRCM or equivalent certification• Demonstrated deep understanding of deposit, investment and banking operations• All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
