The University of Kansas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (KU ADRC) is seeking a full-time researcher to join our growing team. The successful candidate will join a fast-growing and tightly integrated ADRC team. The KU ADRC is a National Institute of Aging (NIA) designated center, one of only 33 in the country, and a national leader in AD research, education, and care. Our vision is to impact the lives of every patient and family dealing with Alzheimer's in the region and across the state of Kansas. We are a comprehensive center at the forefront of clinical trials, lifestyle intervention trials, drug and translational research, and basic science research. Our research enables us to also provide leading edge clinical care and support for dementia caregivers. In addition, we provide a wide variety of both public education and training opportunities for the workforce of tomorrow.

Job Duties Outlined:
• Be directly involved with training graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and research assistants.
• Participate in service related to the department (internal committees, leading journal club, etc.).
• Develop your research program which includes successfully competing for external research grants to maintain and expand funding for your program. As part of your research activities, you are expected to enter mutual research collaborations with other investigators.
• Collaborate with other researchers to leverage KU resources.
• Publish quality peer-reviewed research at a rate that is commensurate with benchmark data for your rank and discipline.
• Present findings at national, international, and regional meetings.

Comprehensive Benefits Package:
