The Academic Success Coach will provide direct support to students withspecific needs to navigate and succeed in higher education. The Coach will participatein and partner with academic advisement including connecting students toresources and services that support individual success. The Coach will alsoimplement and deliver programs and services that enrich academic experience andaddress the unique needs of the target population.This is a grant funded-position with current funding throughDecember 2027, to be institutionalized thereafter.Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, TheUniversity of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of TheUniversity of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the regionand is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis onteaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs,technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to high schools inValencia and Socorro Counties.
