Advertising Representative

Salary/Position Classification• $13.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt• 12 hours per week• 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes• Hybrid Work Availability: YesPurpose of PositionThis is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.Duties & Responsibilities• Set advertising deadlines with ad setter.• Give the Business Manager weekly reports on businesses that you’ve contacted for the week.• Contact businesses regarding active specials.• Other duties as assigned by the Editor or Sales and Marketing Coordinator.Required Competencies• Ability to build and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel/Teams.• Clearly communicate ad rates and packages to potential advertisers.• Be available for the possibility of weekly meetings.Minimum Requirements• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.• Excellent organizational skills.• Creativity and graphic design experience is helpful.• Ability to work under strict deadlines and ability to work under pressure.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
