An integral member of theGWS Operations Team, this position supports the day-to-dayoperations at GWS by directly assisting students, staff, andfaculty through organizational support and processimplementation.Under general supervision of the Department Administrator, theAdministrative Operations Coordinator is responsible for threemajor functions at GWS (administrative assistance to the DepartmentChair, operational project management support to the DepartmentAdministrator, and maintaining process documentation through theGWS KnowledgeBase) and requires considerable independent initiativeand judgement. Applicants with experience in administrativesupport, project management, and oral and written communication areencouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will take initiativetowards supporting departmental goals, priorities, and logisticalplanning. This employee will also act in a consultative role as amember of the GWS Operations Team and the GWS Knowledge ManagementTeam. A minimum of one year of experience providing administrativesupport to leadership such as virtual meeting management includingscheduling, preparation of comprehensive agendas, documentation ofmeeting minutes, tracking of action items, and/or preparing,composing, editing and formatting correspondence ranging fromroutine to complex matters.2. Experience proactively managing the full life-cycle of workrequests and/or task timelines.3. Interpersonal communication skills in a customer/client servicefacing role.Preferred:1.
