Accounting Specialist

Unlimited Technology, a premier cyber and physical security specialty contractor, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have broad accounting, payroll, and human resources experience and will drive process improvement.

Skills

Strong accounting and payroll experience
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, D365, Oracle, SAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Manage payroll function including processing, compliance, and reporting
Lead documentation and process control around payroll function
Act as ERP subject matter expert around time entry
Contribute to monthly closing process and ensure accurate data
Prepare, analyze, and communicate data while researching variances
Identify and implement best practices to minimize risk and improve efficiency
Support special projects involving People Operations, Accounting, Treasury, and FP&A teams

Education

Degree in Accounting, Business, or related fields OR five years of general accounting and/or payroll experience
Willingness to obtain payroll certification
