UPHOLSTERER

$500 new employee SIGNING BONUS for upholsterers with 5+ years experience. Full time eligible for $250 after 90 days and $250 after 180 days. Former employees are not eligible for the signing bonus. To be eligible for bonus, the bonus must be included in your employment offer letter.

Your pay rate will depend upon your experience, motivation, and commitment. The scope and complexity of our product line is relatively easy to learn. Orders often include multiple pieces of the identical item. Once on piece rate, we have upholsterers consistently making between $25/hour - $30/hour. Start at hourly rate that's based on your level of experience until you can earn higher $$ at piece rate - then make the transition to piece rate with potential to earn up to $30/hour. Full time and Part time positions available.

Woodmark Furniture, a division of Howard Miller and a manufacturer of fine upholstered furniture, has an immediate opening for upholsterers (inside).

The ability to apply fabric to furniture frames using hand and power tools, glue and staples is required. Furniture upholstery experience, along with outside and trim experience is a plus! Other requirements are:

• the ability to lift, push and/or pull heavy objects (at times weighing 50 to 75 pounds)
• must be reliable, and
• must be motivated and a self-starter
