Philadelphia, PA Philadelphia, PA Contract Contract $27.30 an hour $27.30 an hour 16 hours ago 16 hours ago 16 hours ago Title:Desktop Support Location:PHILADELPHIA PA 19148 Shift:03:30 PM-12:00 AM Work Weeks:Monday-Friday Duration:12 months Pay rate:$27.30/hr on W2 without benefits Note:Schedule work week could be Tue - Sat, Sun-Thur or Mon - Fri.Shift hours subject to change with sufficient notice Description:Provides support activities in an assigned area.Performs equipment exchange and recording inventory controls, software installations and program updates, troubleshooting and problem resolution on computer and Telecommunication systems.Train users on supported software and hardware with understanding of technology from a user perspective as well as technical perspective.Assist users to resolve computer related problems such as inoperative hardware or software.Travel is required using one's personal vehicle to provide Technology Support for Customers and to support UPS Core Technology solutions, UPS Small Package, Freight and SCS locations to supporting UPS technology infrastructure.Willing to work various shifts, able to work five days per week with possibility of weekends as needed due to vacation coverage or planned weekend upgrades.Associates Degree in Computer Science required Bachelors preferred and Acertification required.Proficient/Advance skills in Microsoft Office Access, Word, Excel and Outlook.Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to prioritize daily tasks Additional Job Details:Schedule work week could be Tue - Sat, Sun-Thru or Mon - Fri.Shift hours subject to change with sufficient notice Job Type:Contract Salary:$27.30 per hour Schedule:Evening shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate:Philadelphia, PA 19148:Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s):Are you comfortable with the shift timing?
