Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced CNC programmer and operator with a strong affinity for high precision work. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of hands-on experience in machining. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in producing top-quality tools, meeting tight tolerances, and ensuring superior quality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Enter all relevant codes to specify feed, speed, and cut of any toolpath that is required to set up machinery for production.
· Use measurement tools (micrometers, indicators, comparators) with precision and accuracy to achieve required tolerances.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to tooling performance, implementing necessary adjustments and modifications as needed.
· Uphold stringent safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their skill development and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
· 10 plus years of proven experience in machining and programming, demonstrating a track record of delivering exceptional quality work.
· Expertise using Fusion 360 or another CAD/CAM software.
· Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, with a strong grasp of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
· Mold making experience is preferred but not mandatory.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
