Responsibilities:
• Go above and beyond to provide your customers with top-notch service.
• Keep up with scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity when delivering customer orders.
• Transport goods to the customer storage zone by means of a manual cart and organize them accordingly.
• Execute the task of repeatedly heaving heavy objects, up to a maximum weight of 80 pounds, through manual means.
• It is important to stop periodically during the work shift to avoid burnout.
• Successfully transporting products in rough weather conditions.
• Ascertain that the items have been delivered to the customers by checking with them.
• Retrieve funds in the appropriate form (cash or checks) where they are needed.
Qualifications:
• The condition mandates that one must be at least 21 years old.
• The possession of a legitimate CDL Class A obtained from the resident state, with DOT qualifications and the required endorsements, is a crucial prerequisite.
• A high school diploma or GED is generally the preferred qualification.
• A valid driver's license from the state of your legal address is required, including the appropriate endorsements if applicable.
• The main criterion for being eligible for this role is to have a clear driving record in the previous two years, which means having not more than two traffic violations and no incidents of DUI conviction in the last three years.
• The job demands a minimum of six months of experience in commercial driving in any capacity or three months of experience delivering food and beverage goods.
• Applicants must be capable of passing a DOT physical to be considered for this opportunity.
