Job Summary of Territory Development Manager:The Territory Development Manager has the accountability of directing and augmenting sales activities in a clearly defined territory. This job incorporates constructing and retaining strong associations with clients, spotting and pursuing uncharted commercial openings, and reaching sales targets. Moreover, the Territory Development Manager examines market trends, executes sales strategies, and certifies client contentment.Responsibilities of Territory Development Manager:• Leverage other resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening.• Develop new business; identify prospective customers by utilizing market intelligence databases, as well as business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.• Know the market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.• Foster the customer relationship in a team based selling model.Qualification of Territory Development Manager:• It is preferable to have sales experience of one year or more.• The ideal candidates for this job opening would possess prior experience in the foodservice industry, culinary arts, restaurant management, or hospitality.• Unmatched ability to convey ideas competently both in writing and through speech.• To increase your client base and succeed in business, you must master the art of building internal and external relationships and initiating cold-calling to create new connections.• Exceptional customer support and exceptional aptitude for building relationships.• Those with a competitive nature and results-driven mindset possess a relentless drive to produce desired outcomes and to succeed in any undertaking.• Problem solving is an important ability in both personal and professional life as it helps us to overcome difficult situations and move forward effectively.
