Job SummaryAs a Business Intelligence Analyst at USAA, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis to address complex business problems and provide actionable insights. Your role involves using data from various sources to identify trends, create impactful reports, and collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance decision-making. This position is essential for developing data-driven solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals and drive business value.Responsibilities• Capture and define sophisticated business requirements by partnering with stakeholders to understand problems and data needs.• Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions, including data visualization, transformation, and collection.• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data analytics infrastructure and governance standards.• Apply data visualization techniques to identify trends and patterns, following standard branding practices.• Use prototyping and usability principles to enhance the effectiveness of data visualization products.• Act as a trusted advisor on data visualization, influencing decisions related to data architecture and application.• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices by participating in relevant groups and sharing knowledge with the team.• Ensure compliance with risk and control policies related to business activities.Qualifications and Experience• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative analytics or related field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, etc.), or 4 years of equivalent experience in statistics or quantitative analytics.• 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business roles within relevant industries (e.g., banking, finance).• Proven ability to address business problems innovatively and develop business deliverables using business intelligence platforms and SQL-based languages (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake).• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to various management levels.• Demonstrated ability to create compelling data stories within business intelligence solutions.Benefits• Competitive salary range: $81,770 - $156,290, based on experience and location, with potential performance-based incentives.• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.• 401(k) and pension plans.• Life insurance, parental benefits, and adoption assistance.• Paid time off including holidays and 16 paid volunteer hours.• Wellness programs and career development resources to support personal and professional growth.SalaryThe salary for this position ranges from $81,770 to $156,290, depending on experience and location.
