Retirement Income PlannerJob Summary:As a Mid-level Retirement Income Specialist, you can support the financial stability of military members and their families by joining USAA. This role requires evaluating members' retirement income requirements, providing expert advice, and making appropriate recommendations to help them achieve their financial goals.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Deliver retirement advice via various channels like phone support, live chat, and email correspondence.• Develop custom-made retirement income plans that fit each member's unique financial circumstances and objectives.• Assist members in evaluating their retirement savings and determining if they are on track to meet their goals, and provide guidance on how to adjust their savings strategies if necessary.• Follow up through phone communication to ensure previous discussions are fulfilled while providing aid for team members.• Following documented guidelines and processes can ensure that the organization is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, while also minimizing risk.Qualifications and Experience:• The possession of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is a basic requirement.• Any individual who wishes to give financial advice must have the required licenses, which comprise the Maintenance of Life/Health license, FINRA Series 7 license, and FINRA Series 66 license (or 63 and 65).• Candidates must have acquired a minimum of four years of experience in either finance or sales to be considered for this role.• Employers highly value candidates who demonstrate exceptional communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, and adeptness at multitasking.• My extensive experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and team leadership has enabled me to achieve many successful outcomes.What sets you apart:• The US military offers a unique set of experiences and challenges that can help individuals develop valuable skills and qualities.• An ideal candidate is someone who has at least 3 years of experience in selling annuities.• Experienced in designing and implementing training programs for new inbound and outbound staff members to ensure consistent exceptional customer service.• By earning the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation, financial professionals learn the fundamentals of managing risks and minimizing taxation in retirement.Benefits of the Position:• An attractive pay range of $65,090.00 to $124,330.00 is being offered, signifying the competitive compensation package for this position.• Performance-based incentives help promote a sense of healthy competition among employees, which drives productivity and fosters innovation within the company.• A broad selection of benefits, including life insurance, 401(k), pension, and full medical, dental, and vision coverage, are made available to the workforce.• Assistance for parents, adoption benefits, and a policy for paid time off.• Utilizing resources such as career counseling, mentorship programs, and professional associations can provide valuable guidance and support in your career path planning efforts.About USAA:Join an organization that puts integrity, loyalty, and service at the heart of its operations.
