Come be a part of what makes us so special!The OpportunityAs a dedicated Talent Scout (Mid-level), you will be an integral part of the Member Contact recruiting team. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, market intelligence to include event management and participation. Sourcing in this high volume, high demand space will require experience with lead generation for unique roles, defining, crafting, and executing sourcing strategies and creating talent pipelines for ongoing and emerging needs. Knowledge of data and analytics will be important as you routinely capture and present market intelligence, that will help influence hiring strategies.The member contact space is highly engaged in community events to continue partnerships and cultivate entry level talent. The Talent Scout will manage and participate in events as needed.This position can work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel.Relocation assistance is not available for this position.What You'll Do• Consults with recruiters and cross-functional teams when implementing sourcing strategies to proactively identify candidates and assemble diverse pipeline of talent for specialized jobs.• Designs and implements sourcing strategies to align with overarching hiring strategy. Identifies top prospects and provides the information to respective recruiters.• Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships and partnerships with candidates, peer partners and recruiters to deliver candidates for business hiring needs.• Builds and implements highly impactful sourcing strategies that result in quality submittals and hires. Applies a variety of sourcing channels, competitive research and other technologies to attract candidates with targeted experience and skills.• Stays current on business and recruiting trends that may impact the hiring process or talent pools and shares back with the recruiters. Advises recruiters on the competitive landscape for attracting talent based on market data and research.• Builds on the current candidate experience concept and introduces creative ideas to actively engage candidates. Leverages market intelligence to identify, target, and contact passive candidates, communicating opportunities and conveying the USAA employee value proposition for attraction and potential hire.• Builds out candidates reports and market maps of talent pipeline.What You Have• Bachelor’s degree; 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.• 4 or more years’ experience in recruitment search or sourcing, either full cycle corporate or agency recruitment to include developing and implementing creative and innovative solutions using a variety of tools and technology.• Experience communicating employment value proposition, with emerging and passive talent audiences, to generate and champion interest.• Experience with candidate generation and passive/active sourcing methodologies.What Sets You Apart• Experience building sourcing strategies, using the Workday ATS, specific to high volume recruiting in a large financial services environment.• 2+ years experience providing talent market intelligence using HireEZ and/or Linked In Recruiter.• Demonstrable experience partnering, communicating, and influencing peers, business leaders and other collaborators.The above description reflects the details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and should not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be performed in the job.What We OfferCompensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
